Handwritten by Thomas Crofton Croker in a clear, legible hand, the page lists works of art found in Thomas Foster's lodgings, 22 Charles Street, Middlesex Hospital, by his friends at the time of his death. Crofton Croker also lists the owners of some of the works or the individuals to whom they had been promised.

The details transcribed from the bottom of page fifteen of the inventory suggest that items listed on pages one to fifteen of Crofton Croker's inventory were originally compiled by Corbett and Spice on 28th February 1826
