Handwritten notes, in clearly legible hand, in which Crofton Croker refers to A. Stuart's untimely death, to the money accruing from the sale of Foster's prints, and to Foster's friendship with Theodore Hook. Crofton Croker also quotes references to Foster from Hook's diaries, which were in his possession. A letter from Theodore Hook to Crofton Croker is pasted to the bottom left of the page, while a letter from Stuart to Crofton Croker is pasted to the top left, folding over and hiding a sketch by Foster.
